I know im not alone on this problem, tons of ps3 call of duty 4 players are having this issue and its starting to piss me off, since i got call of duty about 4 months ago, just and random periods if time, lasting about a week or so, i would have the "downloading game settings". I'm currently having this problem again. It has lasted for about 2 weeks so far and im getting pissed!! The thing is, i cant even play 2 player! i click multiplayer on the main menu then hell breaks loose, the multiplayer menu will work but just freeze every 15 seconds or so and then just unfreeze for a few more seconds just to freeze again, i cant play online(obviously) and two player, when its loading the map, it just freezes!!!! I WANT A SOLUTION AND I WANT THE PROBLEM!!!! any of you idiot shi*heads out there better not give me shi*y answers. i want someone with some brains to tell me the damn answer.
hit your ps3 really hard with your fist.this should fix it.if that doesnt work submerge it in lukewarm water for about fifteen minutes.then put it in the dryer under the delicate setting since its got all them little computer parts in it.hope this helps

hit your ps3 really hard with your fist.this should fix it.if that doesnt work submerge it in lukewarm water for about fifteen minutes.then put it in the dryer under the delicate setting since its got all them little computer parts in it.hope this helps

ok this is what i did, i let it download when i was in the shower, and then i got out and restarted the playstation, then i work, then i just left the cod4 disk in the playstation all the time, i never took it out and now i dont have to downloading game settings screen.
